Gabriela joined the Calgary Hotel Association in 2024 as Executive Assistant with the goal of supporting the executive director and help achieving the CHA’s mission and vision.

In a career spanning 10 years, Gabriela has focused on culture, the environment, and community relations. A native of Guadalajara, México, Gabriela moved to Calgary in 2021 along with her husband and two cats.

She loves Calgary’s connection to nature, which allows her to spend time outdoors, hiking and camping in the summer, and ice skating in the winter. She enjoys dining out and discovering new cuisines. She also enjoys cooking, hosting, and entertaining at home, exploring new flavors, ingredients, and recipes; taking care of details to make sure everyone feels at home.
